Reef Cruise Information
Quicksilver Reef Cruises take you to their spacious activity platform to explore the Outer Great Barrier Reef from Port Douglas. Snorkel, dive, or don’t even get in the water, everyone gets to explore the Reef!
The Quicksilver Vessel that takes you from the Port Douglas Marina to the Outer Reef Platform is a comfortable wave piercer, making this reef cruise a good option for anyone worrying about seasickness. The platform on the Great Barrier Reef is fixed, and offers an array of activities for the whole family. Snorkel or dive the Great Barrier Reef, or enjoy the view from the underwater observatory or the semi submersable for any non-swimmers wanting to explore the reef.
What is the itinerary
Time TBC – Optional pick up from Port Douglas or Cairns accommodation at additional fee
9:15am – Check-in at the Quicksilver Office at the Crystalbrook Marina in Port Douglas
9:30am – Boarding of Quicksilver Vessel. Tea and coffee will be available
10:00am – Departure for 1.5 hour trip to the outer reef
11:30am – Arrival at the activity platfrom.
12:00pm – Hot & Cold Tropical Buffet Lunch is served
3:00pm – Depart for the return trip to Port Douglas
4:30pm – Arrival back at the Crystalbrook Marina in Port Douglas
