Sunset Sail Information
Shaolin takes you on a stunning sunset cruise from the Port Douglas Marina, along the Port Douglas waterfront and out into the Coral Sea.
Enjoy spectacular views of the local Daintree mountains, surrounding islands and Port Douglas’s famous Four Mile beach, while relaxing on Shaolin’s teak deck or cushioned lounge area.
The Captain will give you an entertaining and informative casual style commentary along the way.
Experience the magic and charm of this unique vessel, one of Port Douglas’s iconic boats.
What is the itinerary
- Check-in at the Shaolin vessel at 4:45pm
- Enjoy the Sunset Sail from 5:00pm – 6:30pm
- Return to the Port Douglas Marina at 6:30pm

About the Operator
The Shaolin is now owned and operated by Flynn Bickford and Kate Agrums a brother and sister team, and Port Douglas locals for over 40 years.
They purchased Shaolin in Feb 2016 and have had a long relationship with the iconic sailing vessel as they both frequently went on day trips to the reef in the late 80’s as children, when the Shaolin first started operating in Port Douglas.
Kate’s first hostess job when she was 16 was aboard the Shaolin. Flynn is the vessels Skipper and Operations Manager while Kate takes care of the Sales and Marketing side of things.
The Shaolin operates along side its sister vessel The Lady Douglas River Cruise which is another popular Port Douglas icon and also owned by the same family.
